The Art programme at NMS has at its core the power of imagination and its underlying strength in the building of flexible, creative, analytical, inquisitive and humanistic minds; Visual education at NMS is based on the understanding that art is for everyone not just the "talented" few.
To nurture creativity and provide students with opportunities for artistic expression, the school organised a series of art camps throughout the academic year. These camps were designed to introduce students to different forms of art while enhancing their imagination, observation skills, and confidence.
Students participated enthusiastically in activities such as painting, sketching, clay modelling, paper craft, mural art, and rangoli making. Guided by trained art instructors, the camps encouraged students to explore colours, textures, and techniques in a joyful and stress-free environment.
Team work is an important life skill. They help students gain generic soft such as communication, problem solving and time management. Keeping the idea of team building skills , club activities related to Theatre, Debate, Cooking, Technology, Art / Craft and Quiz were held on Saturday 17th July 2021. It was indeed an enriching experience for the students. The children enthusiastically participated in the activities which are bound to inculcate interpersonal skills in them.
